Quality Control

Based on the goals and missions for Azar Fartak Surin, Quality Control is one of the most important units in our company. Accordingly, the manufacturing of products that are competitive in quality with the names of the oil and gas industry is one of the main goals of the company. In this regard, we have always tried to ensure that the quality of the product fully complies with its specific standards developed by API. In other words, the basis of Azar Fartak products is always the standards provided for that product by the API, which is always tried to be applicable not only in the design and engineering area but also in the quality control field. We follow quality control in 3 general areas:

Each of these sections has different requirements depending on product specific standards. For example, in the raw materials sector, requirements such as volumetric ultrasonic testing, material properties testing, chemical analysis of materials, or test of impact resistance and several other tests may apply. In the section “control during production”, in addition to applying a variety of dimensional control methods, requirements such as ultrasonic test of welding, PT and MT tests, hydrostatic pressure resistance tests are also considered depending on the standard of the product.

The introduction of quality control plan for each product is always in the first stage after the order confirmation. This document contains documents such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), manufacturing process Qualification Plans (MPQP), Manufacturing Product Qualification (MPQ) as well as all manufacturing Quality Control Reports (MQCRs). The QC plan of the product will be always validated and confirmed during the Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM) and communication and coordination channel between the manufacturer, purchaser inspector and purchaser will be agreed in this session. It should be noted that in the course of the project, only the instructions and forms and the reports approved by the parties at the meeting will be implemented and enforced.
In general, the quality control process in Azar Fartak Company is completely engineered and based on the most stringent international standards. It should be noted, however, that in API standards based on operating conditions and functional sensitivities, different levels of Product Specification Level (PSL) are considered for inspection of components and equipment, which are displayed in PSL1 to PSL4 form, through which the level of stringency of quality control inspections is added from PSL1 to PSL4.
